Pediatrics Physiotherapy

Helping children reach their movement milestones — expert, play-based physiotherapy delivered at home.

Every child deserves the opportunity to move freely, explore their world, and reach their developmental potential. At Neuron Rehabilitation, our Pediatric Physiotherapy service supports children from infancy through adolescence who face movement challenges, developmental delays, or physical conditions that affect their ability to participate fully in daily life. Our therapists provide specialised, child-friendly assessment and treatment — entirely at your home in Bangalore — using play-based techniques that make therapy engaging, effective, and positive for both child and family.

From a child taking their first independent steps to a teenager returning to sport after injury — we celebrate every milestone alongside the families we serve, and we bring that same commitment to every session.

Our Approach to Pediatric Rehabilitation

At our culture comes to life through three core values:

We assess developmentally — understanding where each child is on their unique journey and what they need next.
We treat through play — using age-appropriate, engaging activities that build strength, coordination, and confidence without the child feeling like they are in therapy.
We partner with parents — equipping families with the tools, exercises, and knowledge to support their child's progress every single day.

Pediatric physiotherapy addresses developmental, neurological, orthopaedic, and acquired conditions that affect movement and physical function in children. At Neuron Rehabilitation, we assess and treat conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delay and coordination disorder, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, torticollis and plagiocephaly, hypotonia (low muscle tone), toe walking, scoliosis, sports injuries in young athletes, post-fracture rehabilitation, and brachial plexus birth injury. We begin every case with a thorough developmental and functional assessment — observing how the child moves, plays, and interacts — and we set clear, meaningful goals with the family.

Children are not small adults — their bodies, nervous systems, and attention spans are fundamentally different, and effective pediatric physiotherapy requires specialist training and a deeply child-centred approach. Our therapists use a combination of neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT/Bobath), sensorimotor integration, strength and coordination training, gait retraining, stretching and splinting programmes, gross motor skill development, and functional goal-directed practice. Every session is designed to feel like an adventure — because children learn best when they are engaged, safe, and having fun. We work closely with parents throughout, explaining every technique and empowering them to reinforce gains at home between sessions.

Early intervention is one of the most powerful factors in a child’s long-term developmental outcome — and home-based therapy makes early, consistent intervention more accessible than ever. We coordinate with your child’s paediatrician, paediatric neurologist, occupational therapist, and school to ensure a joined-up approach to their care. Progress is reviewed regularly, goals are updated as the child develops, and we communicate openly with the family at every stage. We also guide parents on how to adapt play, seating, and daily routines to support their child’s movement goals around the clock.

At Neuron Rehabilitation, we believe in every child’s potential — and we meet them exactly where they are. Our mission is to help each child move more freely, participate more fully, and grow with confidence.
